Blessingway Doula is proud to support families during the Tiger 10K by providing a private and welcoming Lactation Tipi for nursing mothers, pumping parents, and families with infants. This space is created to help active families feel supported while participating in one of Baton Rouge’s favorite local running events.
Community races are exciting opportunities for movement, celebration, and connection, and many parents enjoy participating alongside family and friends. The Lactation Station helps make that experience more accessible by offering a comfortable place to feed a baby, pump, change diapers, or simply pause for a quiet moment during race day.
Supporting families in public spaces reflects the heart of Blessingway Doula’s mission—ensuring parents feel seen, welcomed, and cared for beyond the birth and postpartum season. Families deserve opportunities to remain connected to community life while also meeting the needs of their children.
Blessingway Doula is especially thankful for the continued collaboration with FreshJunkie Racing, whose partnership helps make this service possible at their events. Their commitment to creating inclusive, family-friendly race experiences allows meaningful support for parents and caregivers throughout the day.
Held on the beautiful LSU campus in Baton Rouge, the Tiger 10K brings together runners, volunteers, spectators, and families from across the region. Blessingway Doula is honored to help create a race-day environment where families with young children feel welcome and supported.
This outreach also helps normalize infant feeding support in public spaces and encourages community events to consider the practical needs of growing families.
Blessingway Doula looks forward to continuing to serve families at future Tiger 10K events.
