Supporting Families Together: Join Blessingway Doula at Baby Grand

Community support has always been at the heart of Blessingway Doula. Birth and postpartum are not experiences meant to be navigated alone, and one of the ways we strengthen support for families is by staying actively involved in the spaces where parents gather, learn, and connect.

That is why I’m honored that Blessingway Doula will be participating in Woman’s Baby Grand for the third year in a row.

Baby Grand is one of the largest and most trusted pregnancy events in our community. Hosted by Woman’s Hospital, the event brings together healthcare providers, educators, and birth professionals to help expectant families prepare for the journey ahead.

Events like this allow families to ask questions, explore resources, and meet the people who may become part of their birth and postpartum support system.

Our Commitment to the Community

Blessingway Doula exists to provide calm, evidence-informed guidance through pregnancy, birth, and the fourth trimester. Participating in Baby Grand is one way we extend that support beyond individual clients and into the wider community.

By showing up at events like Baby Grand, we are able to:

  • connect with expectant families early in their journey
  • share evidence-based information about birth and recovery
  • answer questions about doulas and partner support
  • introduce resources that support the fourth trimester

Birth preparation is not only about classes and checklists. It is about relationships, trust, and knowing where to turn for guidance when you need it.

Thank you to Woman’s Hospital for hosting another wonderful Spring Baby Grand 2026 event. It is always such a meaningful opportunity to connect with expectant families in our community and share resources that support a confident pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

I truly appreciated the thoughtful conversations with so many parents-to-be who stopped by the Blessingway Doula booth. Hearing your hopes, questions, and birth plans is exactly why I love being part of this event each year.

Events like Baby Grand reflect the strength of our local birth community, and I’m grateful to Woman’s Hospital for creating a space where families can gather information, meet providers, and feel supported as they prepare to welcome their babies.

Thank you to everyone who took time to stop by, connect, and learn more about doula support, birth preparation, and postpartum care. I look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting families throughout the Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish community. 🌿
